What is the Rescue Diver course?

Are you ready to take your scuba diving skills to the next level? If so, the Rescue Diver course is the perfect next step for you.

In this course, you will learn how to prevent and manage dive emergencies, how to handle and assist other divers in distress, and how to recognize and respond to potential hazards while diving. The course consists of both classroom sessions and in-water training, so you will have the opportunity to practice and refine your skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Upon completion of the Rescue Diver course, you will be a more confident and competent diver, able to handle unexpected situations and assist other divers in need. You will also have a greater appreciation for the importance of safety and preparedness in scuba diving.

Who can enroll in the Rescue Diver course?

To enroll in the PADI or SSI Rescue Diver course, you must have a current CPR and First Aid certification, and have completed a diving certification course that includes both Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

SSI and PADI Diving Organizations.

At our diving center Dive Spot in Tenerife, we offer training from two of the largest diving organizations in the world: SSI – Scuba Schools International and PADI – Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Certificates issued by these organizations are accepted all over the world.
         

E-Learning – Your training online

Don’t waste time! In our diving center, you can complete online diving training for all levels. You can do it at any convenient time, even in the evening, at your own home. After booking, you will receive e-learning access from us. You will only need to perform underwater skills and diving when you come to us.

How to make a reservation?

Before you start, please read our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation and Refund Policy. To make a reservation, you will need a bank card to pay a small deposit. If you do not have a card or you have problems with online payment, please contact us, and we will arrange a different payment method. Remember that promotional prices are valid only for online bookings made at least one day before the dive.

The booking window is on the top right side of this page.
Select the diving course you want to do. Enter the number of participants for the appropriate option.

React Right / EFR is a First Aid course. You must complete this or a similar training to start a Rescue course. It cannot be older than two years.

Additional options. Mark additional options that you would like to add to your order.

The underwater world at night is completely different. We encourage you to book a night dive as an additional dive on any day of the package.

Many interesting dive spots require a diving license up to 40 meters deep. Develop your qualifications and join the Deep Diver course with us. You can find more information here. The training lasts 2 additional days.

Diving organization. You have the option to choose which organisation you want to get your diving license from. There are small differences between the training schedule, requirements and registration fees. The PADI license fee is more expensive.

Photos and videos of your first dive. If you want the instructor to do an underwater photo shoot for you, select “Yes, please”.

Transfer. If you need transportation from your hotel and back, you can order it with an additional fee in two different tourist areas. If your place of stay is not covered on the map, please contact us. We can arrange individual transportation for you. You can check the transport zone map here.

Date. Select the date of your dive. We reserve the right to change the time for better organization of our work in the diving center. Our assistant will confirm your booking with detailed information.

Checkout and Cart

If your order is ready, press “Book Now”. You will be transferred to the Checkout page.
If you want to make changes to your booking, you will find the Basket icon which at the top of the page, which will take you to your Cart. If you have a discount coupon for regular customers, you can apply it in the cart and proceed to checkout.
Checkout page – Billing Details. On this page you will fill in your personal data: first name, last name, phone number (don’t forget the prefix, which is your country code), email address (for booking confirmation), the language you speak best, and additional languages you can communicate in (choose from the list. If you know more, please write them in the comments).

Pick up point. If you ordered a paid transfer service from the hotel, please enter the exact full name of the hotel, including the city. If you stay in an apartment, enter the exact address: street and number, city, zip code, name of the building, and Google location, if possible.

Additional Information. Enter any relevant information you want to inform us about in this section.

Payment.

Enter your bank card details and pay the deposit. You will receive an automatic confirmation to your email about the payment and pending process status.
Then, our assistant will confirm the reservation and inform you about the details. Please note that there may be minor changes to your order, such as the start time or hotel pick-up time. Sports activities are subject to last-minute changes, so please make sure to keep your phone handy in case we need to contact you. If you have any issues with booking or payment, please contact us.
